Chunnin examsRue's P.O.V.
Okay, getting to the chunnin exams, i'm dating kiba, and the first part of the exam was easy, considering I knew all of the answers, it didn't take my team and i very long through the forest of death, knowing that everyone was a wimp. The preliminary rounds, I fought Runescape, my own teammate, and he lost. Now it's the final exam. Naruto fought Neji, then what I think can never happen, happened. I had to fight Luchia. My other teammate, and best friend. "Who would have thought this could happen?" "Shut up Rue!!!" "Luchia?" "I heard you call me a bitch!!!!" "He hates you!!! And he makes me talk like that!!!" "Begin." Luchia had gone mad. Did she not know that kiba hates her??? "Alright then Rue, I'll begin with this...4 pillar trap!!!" I automatically get myself out of the way, because I'm a goner if i don't. "Nice try Luchia! but...Shadow clo
first day in the leafRue's P.O.V.
Okay years pass, i met a kid named deidara, he left, i'm now in the Hidden Leaf village as i was assigned to be for the chunnin selection exams. "Baki sensei, i'm taking a stroll out here, is that okay?" "Why would you even ask, we have to asign you to a team." "Fine." As we were walking in the village, lots of people were staring at Gaara. I didn't like how they are looking at him. We reach the Hokage's office, and Temari knocks on the door. "Come in." We walked in. I knew I am done for, and it's only my first mission. I tried to call out to Gaara and Temari, but I I'm too weak to talk. I'm suddenly getting feverish. A trap set by the enemy? It couldn't be, I sense no traps left. Unless it's a jutsu, then I'm just getting randomly sick. This has never happened to me before.
It's the end, unless I can get to her without running into the enemy. "Just hang in there Rue!" I see her starting to pass out, but I also see her face getting red, she's getting sick, But the enemy is occupied, how is this? "Gaara, get to Rue!"
"I'll try my best!" I'm running over to Rue, but the enemy stops me in my tracks, setting a defense barrier around her. Not even my sand can get past this barrier.
I see a defense barrier, and i'm finally able to speak. "what's happening?" I get up an
Hath No FearGiving yourself completely up to fear is kinda like falling in love: You can't pin point exactly when it started and by the time you realize that you are surrounded by that sensation it's already game over. Just like the image of the person you are in love with starts creeping out from every unexpected corner, fear never leaves your side when you give it a welcome stay. After a restless sleep, it starts beating anxiously in your heart the moment you wake up in the morning and commands all your thoughts and actions throughout the day. It is nothing short of a prison, except you are the only inmate and the warden never takes a break. Ever.
I do not exactly remember when I let fear occupy my being but I remember the exact moment when I realized I was ruled by it. It was late in the afternoon, everybody was out there 'getting busy living' and I had locked myself inside my bed half awake, not particularly finding any valid reason to get out of it. Then I was awakened from a nightmare by my
